Main Tasks of the Headquarters

1. Execution of complex analysis of operational situation in the region, work results of internal affairs services, assessment and forecast of criminal situation. Study of topical issues of activity of branch divisions and independent sectors of the Department of Internal Affairs, preparation of proposals on work efficiency enhancement based on this data.

2. Summing up the activity of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region, decision making of operational brainstorming.

3. Organization of prospective and current planning of work of the Department of Internal Affairs.

4. Control over execution of acts of the President, Parliament, Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regional administration, decisions of the  Board and operational meetings, orders, instructions, plans and programs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, own decisions by the Bureau and independent sectors of the Department of Internal Affairs.

5. Execution of zone and line control over the activity of the services and subdivisions of the Department of Internal Affairs on provision of complex tasks of security of public order, public security and suppression of crime.

6. Development of measures of reacting to the changes in the operational situation in the region by the branch services, and control over execution of the measures.

7. Organization and conduct of audit of organizational and operational activity of branch services and territorial subdivisions of the Department of Internal Affairs.

8. Search, study, consolidation and introduction of progressive experience in the practical activity of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region, formation of informational database of the Department of Internal Affairs.

9. Management and control over organization of activity of HQ units, rendering practical and methodological support to them.

10. Organization of mobilization work and activity on civil defense.

11. Control over observation of recording and registering discipline by branch sectors and independent units of the Department of Internal Affairs and GRO(U)VD of the region.
