Principal tasks of Management of public safety
Department of Internal Affairs of South-Kazakhstan region

    1. The organization of gathering, generalization, the analysis of the information concerning  a political, ethnic situation in region, informing interested state bodies, preparation of offers under the prevention and suppression of illegal actions;

    2. The organization of interaction with structural divisions of Department of Internal Affairs of South-Kazakhstan region, other law enforcement bodies, state and other structures, the organizations, irrespective of patterns of ownership, citizens in questions of prevention of offences, protection public order;

    3. Organizational maintenance of local police inspectors activity concerning prevention offences and crimes, work with the persons who belong to the preventive accounts of Department of Internal Affairs;

    4. Organizational-methodical maintenance of interaction Department of Internal Affairs with specialized treatment-and-prophylactic establishments and the centres of adaptation for the persons without certain residence;

    5. Organization of activity concerning prevention of crimes and offences among minors, neglect of children;

    6. The organization of work of the centres of time isolation, adaptation and rehabilitation of minors;

    7. Maintenance of a principle of inevitability of responsibility of persons encroaching on the rights of women, maintenance of guarantees of family well-being, the rights to inviolability of a private life, personal and family secret, protection of the honor and advantage;

    8. The organization of activity of a patrol force on protection of the rights and freedom of citizens against illegal encroachments in streets and in public places;

    9. Organizational-methodical maintenance of protection of a public order and public safety at carrying out mass political and cultural - entertainment actions, and also during visits of the Head of the state and other high-ranking officials in area territory;

    10. Organizational maintenance of the control over rules of working out, manufacture, repair, trade, acquisition; a collecting, exhibiting, storage, the account, transportation and import (export) of the civil and office weapon and cartridges to it, acquisition, transportation, storage, the account, import (export) of explosive materials, civil pyrotechnic substances and products with their application which classification is established by the Republic Kazakhstan legislation, and also in places of their constant storage, opening and functioning of shooting galleries and shooting ranges, the shooting-hunting stands, stamp-engraving workshops, the multiplying sites equipped with multiplying copy techniques of the color image, storage of poisonous, narcotic, psychotropic substance, radioactive materials, and conformity of the personnel of legal bodies, to qualifying requirements of the licensed kind of activity.
