The principal tasks of
Department of criminal police of Department of Internal Affairs of South-Kazakhstan region

    1. The organization of criminal police division's activity under the prevention, suppression and exposure of crimes concerning authority of law-enforcement bodies;

    2. The organization of search of the persons who have absconded from inquiries and the vessels, evading from execution of criminal punishment, missing persons and in other cases provided by the legislation of Kazakhstan Republic, according to the international agreements on legal aid rendering on criminal cases, civil and family affairs, supervises the timely decision of questions of an extradition;

    3. The  organization of activity under the prevention, revealing, suppression and exposure of crimes in sphere of the computer information where object of an encroachment is the computer, their systems and a network (as data carriers), the rights of the proprietor and the third parties;

    4. The organization of operatively-search activity in an order established by the legislation of Kazakhstan Republic;

    5. The organization of activity under the prevention, suppression and exposure of crimes concerning minors;

    6. The organization of activity under the prevention, suppression and exposure of crimes concerning foreign citizens, and also made by them;

    7. Realization of other problems assigned to Department of criminal police according to the legislation of Republic Kazakhstan.
